An orangery is considered an extension and therefore falls under the planning permission rules that govern an extension. Generally, an extension does not require planning permission, subject to certain parameters. Gama group can advise if your orangery will require planning permission.
Yes, modern Orangeries use the very latest heat retaining materials. The build and design of modern Orangeries, retain warmth and heat all year round and are an all-season room. In the summer that are cool, while their double glazed windows stop heat escaping during the winter.
